Job Overview:

South Regional Catholic Elementary Schools are seeking a highly motivated and experienced second-grade teacher to join our team at our Sts. Peter & Paul campus in Beaver, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual responsible for teaching students in second grade and will have a proven track record of success in the classroom. The position is open beginning April 14, 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum standards

• Adhere to and promote the values of the Catholic Church

• Work collaboratively with other faculty members to create a positive learning environment

• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

• Coordinate student assessments, including universal screeners

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree

• Valid PA Teaching Certifications or ability to obtain certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
